THE MESSAGE:
The Star has been a symbol of hope and promise for many centuries.  The hope and inspiration which The Star in the Tarot represents is vital for keeping a sense of equilibrium, particularly when life is at a low ebb.  Without the special sense of faith and hope of The Star, we can simply give up.

Everyone needs a goal to believe in, and while that goal is alive within, anything is possible.  If we stop believing and loose hope that things can improve, the light goes out in our hearts, and ultimately, in our lives.  The Star, therefore, indicates an extremely important stage of the journey to understand and integrate.  Our own attitudes to hope are critical to how we live in our lives, how we treat ourselves and others.  If we do not respect our own lives, why should we feel any different towards anyone else’s? … but if we cherish and appreciate life, our attitudes begin to change.  It is often when we are in danger of losing something that we begin to appreciate it, and that which we appreciate, we cherish.

The Star, being one of the most positive cards within the tarot deck, reminds us of hope and gives us inspiration.

The Star is the symbol of our faith in the future, and helps us to gather the forces necessary to expand our knowledge and to develop emotionally and spiritually.

  1. I did a 10 card spread some days ago,The star card was in the past position. I have a cross roads to deal with both pathways are difficult there is sadness connected to both paths,I had been praying for resolution direction and protection and stability neither way shows any of this unless this means...the waiting is over (I have been waiting for this a long time) there are other GOOD cards in present and future but the 10 of swords in the 9th position. Beginning with page of wands ending with the 4 of wands and the ace of cups beneath me and the 2 of cups in the immediate future (possibly) All is just POSSIBLE anything can change and quickly...I am aware. everyone is watching and waiting for me to fail its a struggle to BELIEVE in me.
