Peony relates to intuition, mystery, inner-knowledge, wisdom, beauty, grace and the ‘Yin’ or female principle. Peony is an anti-spasmodic and emmenagogue. Peony is the herb of ‘intuition’. It is commonly used in gynaecology. The root promotes internal circulation, and it relieves spasms.
